Background
I am a fourth-year undergraduate majoring in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at the School of the Gifted Young, University of Science and Technology of China. My research interests include optimization, theoretical machine learning, AI for Math, and Math for AI (combined: AI for AI).
I also have a background in computer science and have independently studied the full set of foundational computer science courses. I enjoy talking with people and exploring new things.

My thoughts on love

Love always feels confusing, especially when we are still young. It seems we can choose to leave everything to fate, or do everything we can to find the one we love.
As for me, I have always believed in fate and hoped that love would happen naturally in this way. But I am not sure whether I can leave love entirely to fate…
From meeting someone, to getting to know them, to falling in love: meeting someone is a matter of fate. I cannot decide whom I will encounter. Perhaps that is simply meant to be.
And getting to know someone? I have always thought I would never actively pursue anyone—that feels far too embarrassing… Perhaps leaving both getting to know someone and falling in love to fate has always been my excuse for avoiding them.
Principles
Keep exploring
This is my most important principle, and it has influenced many of my decisions. In LLMs, RL (reinforcement learning) can produce better results than SFT (supervised fine-tuning). I think people are similar: in life, academia, and even small choices, I like to keep exploring and try things I have never done before~
Systems engineering
This is a discipline in management that can also be applied to every aspect of life. I value taking time to create a better environment, breaking problems down, solving the parts separately, and combining them sensibly.
Systems engineering is the first approach I consider when solving a problem. I make a conscious effort to start from this perspective.
This is my method for solving problems.
Deliberate self-evolution
I believe we should not repeat our own mistakes. I like reflecting on myself periodically, for example by keeping a diary. From these reflections, I distill my personal principles and develop a more complete sense of self.
This is how I develop my personal rules.
Dreams
Automate life with AI
I hope to fully automate my life with AI, so I can focus on my inner self.
Live around the world
Live around the world.
